Employee and Organizational Development Specialist

The Employee and Organizational Development Specialist assists in researching, creating, and administering professional and personal development and learning resources for the employees of Chelsea Milling Company. This includes assessment reviews, coaching, educational activities, and training. This role will collaborate with employees, teams, and leadership to find the tools, opportunities, and support needed to realize their full potential. Additionally, they help employees understand how their roles contribute to individual and departmental goals, as well as the overall effectiveness of the organization. This role fosters a culture of growth and development by partnering with employees and leaders to ensure that career development and training programs support the business and culture of “JIFFY” Mix. The Personal Development department ensures that development initiatives and activities are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or organizational development is preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience including adult learning, presentation, facilitation, and training skills is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience, delivering feedback/coaching to employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead and balance multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities. Manage a busy schedule, organize calendar invites, and prepare resources for meetings.
  • Highly organized with excellent scheduling, follow-up, and follow-through.
  • Presentation, facilitation, and communication (verbal and written) skills preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • Sound general business acumen.
  • Ability to lead by influencing.
  • Ability to facilitate collaborative group discussions.
  • Comfortable working with individuals, teams, and leadership.
  • Able to work with little supervision.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic.
  • Change agent.
