Customer Service/Order Entry
The Customer Service/Order Entry position will process daily orders that come in by email or EDI as well as provide assistance with problem resolution via incoming calls from brokers, buyers, salesmen, and customers. This position will utilize Plex ERP to monitor inventory levels and demand in order to communicate concerns to sales/production/operations management. They will set up new customers in PLEX with ship to and bill to address, item cross reference numbers, price adjustments, catalog prices, and include relevant EDI information. This role will include daily analysis of orders in the system, reviewing of ship dates to ensure product ships within confirmed ship dates, and communicating with customers to ensure ship dates are accurate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Excellent team player, self-motivated, assertive with 100% follow through and can work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills – excellent verbal and written communications
- Detail oriented and organized
- Candidate must be able to multi-task on multiple projects.
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
- Basic understanding of computers, MS Office, logistics/transportation systems, and ERP systems (preferably PLEX) is essential.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
