Churros made with “JIFFY” Baking Mix.

"JIFFY" Baking Mix

Baking Mix (40 oz.)

The perfect way to create endless treats and dishes.

Yields: 15 - 20 Churros

Ingredients

  • Batter
  • Coating

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oil in deep fryer or skillet to 350°F.

  • Step 2

    For batter, combine baking mix and sugar. Stir in water until dough forms.

  • Step 3

    Fill a pastry bag, fitted with a large star tip, with half of dough. Carefully pipe 4 – 6 inch pieces of batter directly into oil, a few at a time.

  • Step 4

    Fry until lightly browned on both sides (2 - 3 minutes). Remove with slotted spoon or tongs. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining batter.

  • Step 5

    For coating, combine ingredients. Toss slightly cooled churros in coating.
