With breakfast or as an evening snack, Donut Holes made with “JIFFY” Baking Mix are a delicious poppable treat.
Yields: 20 - 25 Holes
Preheat oil in deep fryer to 375°F.
For donuts, combine baking mix, flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Using an electric mixer, slowly add water, mixing to form a stiff dough.
Roll dough into 1-1/2” balls. Carefully drop into hot oil. Brown on both sides and drain on paper towel.
For coating, combine ingredients in a plastic or paper bag. Add a few warm donuts at a time and shake to coat.
