Fruit Biscuits made with “JIFFY” Buttermilk Biscuit Mix. A good old-fashioned treat that will delight your taste buds.
Yields: 10 - 12 Biscuits
Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a baking sheet.
Combine biscuit mix and sugar. Stir in buttermilk. Fold in fruit.
Using a large spoon, drop about 1/4 cup of batter per biscuit onto baking sheet. Bake 10 – 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool for 1 minute before removing to cooling rack.
Combine icing ingredients. Mix well. Pipe or spread over biscuits.
