Get your holiday cookie prep started early by baking a batch of Snickerdoodle Cookies made with “JIFFY” Baking Mix. This traditional, sweet cookie is one of Santa’s favorites and is easy to bake with the whole family.
Yields: 20 - 24 Cookies
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
For coating, combine ingredients; set aside.
For cookies, cream margarine or butter and sugar on medium. Add egg and beat until combined.
In separate bowl, combine baking mix, flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture and beat on low until combined (about 1 minute), scraping bowl once.
Scoop by tablespoon and roll into ball. Roll dough balls in coating. Place on cookie sheets. Bake 10 - 13 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack. Cool completely.
